As this is a Board Workshop, there is no Open Forum. This is a working meeting of the Board.

The Proposed 2015 Budget will be handed out to residents at the Budget Town Hall Meeting on November 12th, 2014 at 7pm.

Seasonal Homeowners:
Please be reminded to contact the management office with your most current address, as we have a few mailings going out in the next couple weeks.

2015 Budget Dates:
The following dates have been set up in regards to budget:
· Board Budget Workshop – Thursday, October 30 at 3:00 pm in the Athletic Club Classroom
· Budget Town Hall Meeting – Wednesday, November 12 at 7:00 pm in the Social Hall
· Annual Budget Meeting – Wednesday, November 19 at 7:00 pm in the Social Hall

RFID Card/Café Card:
As most of you are aware, we will be transitioning over to a new card system by the end of the year. Each card provided will serve as an ID card, building and gate access card, and café debit card. Two new cards will be issued to each home at no charge, which must include a photo ID.

Management will be taking pictures of residents for the new cards on the following days:
· Thursday October 30th 10am-12pm – Athletic Club Classroom

*Additional dates will be scheduled shortly; which will include evening and weekends to accommodate all residents.*

PLEASE NOTE: The new cards will not be available for pick up until later in the year. The first step in the process will be obtaining photos from each owner. Thank you for your understanding!

CPR Certificates:
If you attended the CPR/AED Defibrillator and Basic First Aid session the certificates of participation are ready for pick up at the Athletic Center!

Special Assessment:
If you opted to pay $175.00 for twelve quarters on the renovation special assessment, as of November 1, 2014, the third installment of $175.00 is due. Please make sure your check gets in on time to avoid penalties. Also, as a reminder, the management office does not take checks for special assessment or maintenance payments.

Social Club Building:
The Social Club remains closed until further notice. For your safety please do not attempt to enter closed areas!! Closed areas include: the north hallway, classroom, billiards room, arts and crafts room, ALL card rooms, inside bathrooms, lobby, and social hall. The café and outside restrooms will remain open.

Quarterly Maintenance:
Please be aware that the third quarterly maintenance payment of $1,511.00 was due on October 1st. If you have not paid please do so as soon as possible.

Painting of Homes - Reminder to all Residents:
Please be reminded that RCI is in the community painting the homes.

RCI has specific instructions as to what areas are to be painted as a part of our contract.

If you have a problem or a complaint about the work that is being done, you may contact Gail Newman, Painting Committee Chair, or submit your request in writing to the management office. Please do not attempt to engage the vendor about your personal issue.

Your cooperation with this process is anticipated as RCI continues with the painting in the community.

RCI is painting the neighborhoods in the order chosen by the painting committee. They have completed section "O” through “I.” They are finishing painting section “H” and next week will start in section “G.”

RCI has identified several homes in the community that have rotted fascia boards. In order for these boards to be painted by RCI, the area that is rotted must be replaced. The management office is notifying these owners by mail if their fascia board needs replacement. Once repaired, please contact the management office and RCI will return to the home to paint the fascia as long as they are still working in the community. If the rotted fascia boards are not replaced until after RCI has completed painting all the homes, it will be the homeowner’s responsibility to have these painted.

Barcodes:
Barcodes are by appointment only in advance. You can make an appointment at the management office for either 10:00 am or 2:00 pm Monday-Friday.
