3-D  ART

A new 3-D art club has been approved. The club meets in the Arts & Crafts room every Tuesday from 1:30 until 4 pm.

 CANASTA

Would you like to learn canasta? Well, our resident volunteer instructor, Ethel Martin, is back giving instructions to anyone interested in learning the game. If you are interested in learning canasta, please call Ethel Martin, 649-6585. She is donating her time to teach other residents the enjoyment of this card game.

CERAMICS

Join us for a traditional ceramics program in the Arts and Crafts Room on Wednesday evening, 7-9 pm. Both beginners and advanced students are welcome. New items are offered weekly with new techniques to learn. Come "clay" with us and join the fun! See Gert on Wednesday evenings for more information. Classes are ongoing. Six-week session for $48 or $8 per class plus materials. You may register with Gert the evening of your first class.

 OPEN  CRAFTS

Open Crafts and Knitting, etc. Please join this group for laughs, conversation and fun while you work on your project. We meet every Monday from 1 pm until 4 pm in the Arts & Crafts room. Bring any and all handiwork that turns you on! Contact Cissy Rosen for details.

 TRIM  CONTROL

The Trim Program has returned to Valencia Shores. We meet every Wednesday at 11:15 am in Card Room 4.

            For 47 years, this program has been teaching people how to lose weight properly and keep it off. There is no weighing or measuring, no special foods, no pills or supplements. We concentrate on nutrition.

            All you need to do is follow your individual menu and lose the pounds. In addition, a few new foods have been added to our option list. We invite you to attend a lecture, and then decide if this program is for you.

            Registration and the first six weeks, $97.50–then $69.50 for each additional six weeks.

 WATERCOLOR

The Watercolor Class is on a break for the summer and will return in November.
